Flooding and the Community Rating System

Yardley Borough sits on the Delaware River. The Brock and Silver Creeks wind thru the floodplain. The Brock flows into the river, while the Silver deposits into the Delaware Canal. Once you cross over the Delaware Canal, you are in the floodplain.

Yardley Borough is a participating member of the National Flood Insurance Program and a Community Rating System(CRS) Class 8 community. Our goal is to provide flood prevention and mitigation information to the residents. If you have specific questions that are not answered here, please call Borough Hall and someone will assist you.
